OMG it was so hot the day when we took this photo (100+ degrees) and I'm jumping up and down like an idiot on the tracks to get that shot! The whole time I'm freaking out that a train was coming!
Lets see, where do I start. First of all, I'm retired from the State of California. But one never really retires, do they? I have all sorts of things to keep me occupied and out of jail. I sing, make music videos, write books, teach trick riding, do public speaking, and if course I "Get my Crafty On" in between all of that other stuff. Now go back and check out those links AFTER you read this... K?
Yeah I'm a busy little bee.. and you want to know my secret to doing many things? I don't mop my floors very often and the laundry has a tendency to pile up, and my husband doesn't get the gourmet home cooked meals that he longs for, and I tend to let the dishes go a few days, but Dang it... I'm busy doing more important things like getting products made for you fine people. Because, I love you All! Yes I do. I wouldn't be jumping up and down on an active railroad track in 100 degree heat if I didn't... Its all for you!
The History of my Craftyness (stupid spell check says this isn't a word. Well I just made it one.
It all started when I was a wee child of 12. I made cute little rock bugs that I sold to my teachers and even at a consignment store.
The monster was born and I've been creating ever since. I have some Cherokee in my bloodlines (gggggg grandfather was Chief Redbird from Kentucky. This has to be the reason that I've always been obsessed with Turquoise, beading, leather, feathers and such; its in the DNA!
I do have one itsy bitsy tinsy weensy little problem. I love to make so many different things (especially jewelry) that I've always had a hard time sticking to ONE THING! Either I get bored, or I see something cool that I have to try! So my jewelry, et. all, is a mix of a little bit of everything. You never know when some new medium will appear to my repertoire*. *(I had no idea how to spell that word. Thank God for Google. What was life like before Google and Youtube and Facebook??.. God Bless Computer Nerds!)
But you can bet on one thing... whatever my item of DuJour is, I can guarantee you that I have no clean clothes to wear because I'm too busy perfecting my new design! (Visual: I'm sitting in my moo-moo crafting..I love moo-moos)
